Temporary Tourist Information Desks Set in Place (Tokyo Tourist Information Centers)

In order to promote the attractions of the city to Japanese and overseas visitors visiting Tokyo for the Tokyo Big Marathon Festa event, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will be providing information on Tokyo sightseeing spots and events at the two venues below:
1. Tokyo Big Sight West Exhibition Hall 1 & 2, 3-11-1 Ariake, Koto Ward (nearest stations are Kokusai-tenjijo-Seimon and Ariake on the Yurikamome Line)
(1) Time
February 25 (Thu.) to 27 (Sat.) 2010, from 10am to 8pm
(2) Exhibiton Contents
- Tokyo tourist information provided by multilingual volunteer team
- Distribution of Tokyo Big Marathon Festa 2010 spectator’s guide maps, tourist pamphlets, etc.
- Exhibition and sale of local Tama timber products (Thu. 25 only)
- Establishment of Tama & Tokyo Islands Tourism PR Corner (Fri. 26 and Sat. 27)

2. 10 km Course Finish Line, Hibiya Park, Chiyoda Ward (nearest station is Hibiya Station on the Tokyo Metro and Toei Mita lines)

Tokyo Big Marathon Festa 2010 Spectator's Guide to Be Distributed
We will be introducing tourist spots in the vicinity of the Tokyo Big Marathon Festa 2010 to Japanese and overseas tourists visiting Tokyo especially for the Tokyo Big Marathon Festa event.
With this easy-to-carry guide in your hand, you will be able to enjoy the city sights here while watching and showing your support for the marathon.

Japanese Version: 70,000 copies
English Version: 15,000 copies

3. Distribution Venues
(1) Tokyo Tourist Information Centers (3 venues: Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, Haneda Airport Office, Keisei Ueno Office), Tokyo Tourist Information Counters (101venues), etc.
* Distribution will generally begin from February 5.

* Please refer to page 1 for date, time and venue information.
(3) Hard Copy Mailing Service (only in Japan)
A hard copy is also available via mail upon request. To receive a copy, send a note stating your mailing address and preferred language version (Japanese or English) along with one 90-yen stamp to cover return postage to the address provided below.
* This guide is limited to one per person.
* Persons or organizations wishing to receive more than one copy are requested to contact our office ahead of time.
