“Omotenashi (hospitality)” through Foreign Language Menus

― About Start of the “Foreign Language Menu Creation Support Website” service ―

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has implemented the foreign language hospitality seminars for restaurants and created foreign language menus for the Tsukiji model area, for foreign visitors to enjoy delicious food in Japan. As part of its efforts, the metropolitan government will start the foreign language menu creation service for restaurants through the “Foreign Language Menu Creation Support Website.” The foreign language menus of 14 restaurants in the Tokyo Metropolitan City Hall are already created through this system.

Easy creation of a foreign language restaurant menu simply by clicking after accessing the website

A variety of background design and food introduction columns available

Restaurant’s original dish can be added to a menu through term combinations

Created menu will be posted on the “Tokyo sightseeing” Tokyo metropolitan government’s official tourism website with approximately 26 million views per year.

Menu creation seminars using the system for restaurants will be available from this July with no charge.
