The National Museum provides ample opportunity for the visitor to become acquainted with a host of aspects of Japanese history and culture. With some 2,500 items on exhibition at any given time, the museum also stages special exhibitions of national treasures and important cultural assets. The museum has so much to offer; even a full day may not be enough for a full appreciation of everything on view.
