Yokohama Station

The entrance to Yokohama, this station is a giant terminal to 9 JR and private railway lines. Surrounding it is a huge shopping and entertainment district.

Access

From Tokyo station, take JR Keihin Tohoku line/Negishi line/Tokaido line; from Haneda Airport, take Keihin Kyuko (via Keikyu Kamata); from Shibuya, take Tokyu Toyoko line/JR Shonan Shinjuku Line rapid express to Yokohama station.

*The "Yokohama ticket set (A short-distance round trip discount ticket)" is available at major JR stations.

Minato no Mieru Oka Koen (Harbor View Park)

A park facing the ocean in the Yamate area. Surrounded by western-style houses, the panorama with MM21 on the left and Bay Bridge on the right makes this the perfect spot for night views.

A 20 minute walk from JR Ishikawa-cho station.

Yamashita Park

Japan's first oceanside park. In the park, there are monuments such as the Indian Water Fountain and the Girl with Red Shoes. The Minato Festival International Fireworks Show is launched from the sea in front of the park, bringing crowds every summer.

Minato Mirai 21

A futuristic bay area, with the famous Ferris wheel, gourmet restaurants and shopping, and famous hotels. The Red Brick Warehouses have also been renovated and opened.

Access

From Yokohama, take JR Keihin Tohoku/Negishi line, Tokyu Toyoko line, or Yokohama Municipal subway line and exit at Sakuragi-cho station. For Landmark Plaza and Queen's Square Yokohama, take the "moving walkway;" for Yokohama World Porters and Red Brick Warehouses, take the Kishamichi Promenade.

On weekends and holidays, 100 yen Minato Mirai buses (one-day pass is 300 yen) depart from Sakuragi-cho stations.

CROSS GATE

A shopping mall with many fusion food-type restaurants. Because it's connected to a hotel, it's also convenient for people from afar.

Yokohama Akarenga (red brick) Warehouses

There are shops, restaurants, a hall, and exhibition space etc. in these massive red brick warehouses.

Yokohama World Porters

Unique shops, both domestic and foreign, restaurants, movie theaters etc. line the floors according to category.

With the symbol of MM21, the Cosmo Clock 21 at the center, there are 32 attractions that adults and children can enjoy.

This consists of the 70 story high Landmark Tower, and Japan's largest shopping mall covering the 1st-5th floors.

Sailing vessel Nippon-Maru/ Yokohama Maritime Museum

The sailing vessel Nippon-Maru, built in 1930, is open to the public. Next to it is Maritime Museum, a museum of boats and ports.

Yokohama Jack Mall

Besides the many large specialty stores, there are restaurants and game arcades, so both shopping and amusement facilities can be enjoyed.

Yokohama Chinatown

Among the Chinatowns of the world, this boasts the largest variety of shops and geographical area.

From Yokohama, take JR Keihin Tohoku line/Negishi line, or Yokohama Municipal subway line and exit at Ishikawa-cho station. About a 6 minute walk

From Sakuragi-cho station, take the municipal bus # 8, 11, 20, or 131, exit "Chinatown entrance" and walk for 1 minute. Alternatively, #21, 99, 101, 105, 106, or 108, exit "Yoshihama-bashi" and walk for 2 minutes

7-minute walk from the South Exit of “Kannai sta.” on the JR Line

About 5- minute walk from “Ishikawa-cho sta.” on the JR/ Yokohama Municipal Subway Line
