The 10th Karabori River Festival

Originated in the nature-rich Noyamakita Park in Musashimurayama City, Karabori River is one of the major natural streams in western Tokyo and runs for about 15 kilometers through the Musashino area including Higashiyamato City and Higashimurayama City. The Karabori River Festival is a popular local event in spring and holds a variety of fun events on the riverside. Join local families and children and enjoy hayashi festive music presentations, taiko drum performances, mini live concerts, a fish releasing ceremony, a flea market, a goldfish catching game, Awa dance, and much more.
